Thank You Secret Pal!!

Alright secret pal, do you have a spy in my house? Seriously. How else would you have known that I just bought a brand new rolling pin since I wore out (really) my old one. And then I open my gift which has cookie cutters, cookie stencils, and a yummy Halloween cookbook! Wow! There were also two snuggly blankets - perfect size to pack with us when we eventually go to China. Of course, you also freaked us out. The package said "fragile", and before we opened it we were convinced it was broken. A little shaking was giving us sounds of about a million pieces rattling around. We were SO relieved to find lots of little boxes of hard candies...nothing broken at all! (darn you for tricking us along with our treat!!!). Thank you so much for spoiling us month after month! :)

I know, I'm delinquent... still not back to my anal retentive, organized self (you have to find humor in my personal traits!) with all the unpacking going on!

So last week, we received an incredible package in the mail. I envy others who think to snap a picture before unwrapping the gifts as my pal is really neat, color coordinated and wraps really nice. I am a wrapping freak so I appreciate that!

We received both our October package and house-warming gifts. We loved it all. The Halloween ceramic candles have been used a lot and adorn our 'naked' fireplace mantel! The HOme Wish Tile will look wonderful once we figure out where all our artwork and assorted other wall stuff is going...

I"m not sure if my Secret Pal did some 'digging' for clues with my mom or not, since she knows who she is, or so I've heard! But, the cookie cutters are my favorite part of the package, my mom is a cookie baking freak (that's a compliment BTW!!) and I've carried on some of those traditions too. Looking forward to rolling out dough in our new kitchen with Magpie next year (fingers crossed huh?)

The window clingers reminded me of when we decorated our front windows in our old house the first year we were married.

I was so surprised when I saw the front of this jacket and noticed the Pooh character. The little zipper pull with her name on it and the Tigger barrette. Oh my goodness!

Let's not forget that amazingly cute little card that you sent. It was fuzzy and everything!

I received your package today and love the dinosaur and the moccasins!

Yesterday I found a package by the door. I love to see packages by the door. After being out with Sadie for a few minutes I came back in to open the package. When I saw it I couldn't help but smile. The contents of the gift was adorable.

My first thought was to wrap it back up to that Ryan could reopen the package. That is exactly what I did. Ryan is a HUGE football fan. He is an even bigger COLTS fan. I knew that he would have to open this package.

When he came home from work I told him the package was for him. He said, "It's addressed to you." I told him that he would like it more! He finally reopened the gift and said, "OH! COOL!!"

I knew he would love it. We received the cutest little cheerleading outfit and a nightgown from our DTC secret pal. I don't know how she knew, but WOW! Thank you! Ryan told me that Tori will have to wear them when they watch football together. How Cute!

Thank you Secret pal. We have been invaded by pretty ladybugs and we love it! There are so many wonderful things for fall and bedtime. The p.j.'s are just adorable, and the CD looks great. There is even a song for China on it. You are very thoughtful in your gifts. Jennifer and Darcy

I am feeling fall. We love Halloween around my house and this month's secret pal gifts were really great. We both love The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown book, I almost bought it last week. The trick or treat book is really cute and I hope we will be able to read it next year to our baby girl. Now I am pretty sure the witch lollipop won't make it that long, just depends on which of us gets to it first. I the kitchen towels will be perfect for our annual Halloween party. Wonderful full surpises and treats!

My secret pal has once again put a huge smile on my face! I wish the camera was working (we have been too lazy to fix it) so I could share with you the wonderfulness that was sent to us! She gave us : an adorable plush Gund teddy bear with a fall scarf around his neck. He is SOOOO soft! Also gave a cute orange little hat from Gymboree for the Empress. She will be stylin' for sure! And wait...that's not all! She even included a yummy mandarin orange candle from Yankee candle. I am spoiled, spoiled, spoiled! This week I went to the post office to pick up a package with some things that I had ordered and I was so positively surprised when it was from my secret pal!! I was really excited to open it but I had to wait until that afternoon that day so that my daughter could open it. I had promised that!!
Thank you so much for all wonderful gifts. For the cosy clothing and all the nice books. I also got a baby Einstein CD with lullaby classics, very soothing music. I must tell you that how I get through this waiting time is that I surf the internet/being part of mailing lists, and have seen the CDs on some sites and I really wanted this music! You must have “sensed” my wish!
A special thanks for thinking of my daughter who also got a gift, the best ever big sister book.
I quickly had to hide the other month´s packages because Amanda wanted to open the all, now!! So thank you again for all the wonderful gifts.

Pascarella Pal strikes again!
I need to send a huge thank you to my pal. I felt like it was raining gifts at our home this month. I received a book, music cd of Chinese children's music that will bring tears to your eyes. Besides all this I get a moon cake in the cutest box I have ever seen in my life. I think my pal is covered for quite some time. Really so much great stuff. I am soooo lucky. To the best Secret Pal...I stopped everything so I could post this picture of the awesome gifts we got today. First of all there's the softest pink and white polka dot blanket that is just so pretty. Pearson keeps petting it likes it's a puppy; he loves how it feels. The second gift is a cute set of Disney's "Marie" pajamas; I can't wait to see our daughter in them. These pj's came in a really nice tin that will be great to keep little mementos in. You've made my day again Secret Pal, I hope you are having a nice day too!

Thank you from the Hammock Family! Sorry it's taken so long to post but I was having problems with our camera. We received the cutest ladybug night light and an awesome growth chart that is pink with butterflies and flowers. It is going to look perfect in our daughter's room and I can't wait until we start decorating. We're holding off until we get the addition on our house completed; hopefully that will be in December. You are such an awesome Secret Pal, thank you for being so thoughtful every month.
