Our secret pal came through with another fantastic gift. With this long wait, there are few things I can count on timing wise with the adoption, but the giving of gifts to our person and the receiving from our Secret Pal can be counted on.

We received some cool snack containers, stuff for the car and best of all this cool 'mini mobile' for the car... something I've wanted but of course have not purchased. Heck, we don't even have a registry at this point, seems so so far away from the time we'll do the registry.

Thanks Secret Pal for the cool gifts!

Thank you de la Rosa family. I have really enjoyed all the wonderful gifts that you have sent over the past few months and will miss getting your notes and cute packages. I will keep in touch via email. The animal shakers are extremely cute as is the hippo puppet. I am sure our baby will love the shakers for the flight back, but the rest of the plane may want to kill us for them - LOL - but toys are supposed to be loud aren't they.

I wanted to say thank you again for all of the gifts that you have sent us.

Who knew that when the pal coordinators would match me up with a secret pal that can be as deviously fun as I am. Her little game every month is surely something I would have done. What is the game you ask? Well, in order to keep me totally off guard and so I would have no way of figuring out who she is , she has mailed the packages each month from a different state. So far, they have been postmarked in Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Missouri, Delaware and this month from Hawaii (along with 2 other places that I forgot to make note of). She must be one globe trotting, or sould I say US trotting, lady to be able to be this sneaky.
In this package there was 2 packs of Wet Ones wipes, a digital thermometer, 2 packs of travel size Kleenex, a baby powder, a pack of Tums, baby nail clippers, hand sanitizer, baby teething tablets (I didn't know anything about these things) and a Diaper Duck with refills, which is a dispenser for little trash bags to dispose dirty diapers in (and contain the smell). Although I've seen a friend use these bags, I haven't had the pleasure myself and I'm glad you thought of them. We also received a couple of weeks ago and addendum to our December gift. She sent us two simply adorable sets of matching necklaces and bracelets for Sunshine to look glamorous in. I love them and I'm sure she will to. A girl can never have too much jewelry!Thank you so much SP for taking such good care of us every month. Your packages brighten our day every time we receive one.

For January, she sent an ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! T-Shirt and pin set. They have one of the mascots (BeiBei, the fish, a symbol of prosperity and harvest) for the 2008 Olympic games! I just LOVE these.

To M Jonsson´s secret pal!

Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I´m so sorry that is has taken me so long to post!

First thank you so much for November gifts. Lots of fun books both for me and the baby and also to Amanda. I really like the book “My family is forever”. Also the book for me, with lots of nursery ideas. I suspect that I opened some of the books at our first exchange. I kind of remember the paper….. :-) :-) Thank you very much!

Also lots of thanks for December gifts with two gift bags, one for baby and one for Amanda with lots of cute and fun stuff.

For the baby a cosy fleece plaid, wrist rattles, shoe rattles, playing links and a duck toy- all so, so cute.

I really like all these cute things reminding me of what is going to happen soon I hope, or at least this year. I´m trying to keep my hope up!

Amanda got the most cute and adorable 4 hand puppets. She opened the bag on our way to my parents which is a 10-11 hour drive by car. She really liked the toys and we had so much fun with them in the car, playing theatre with them.

Thank you, thank you so much for all the gifts!

Happy 2007! From the Jonsson family.

Holy slacker in posting batman!! Thank yous are LONG overdue for my secret pal & my holiday secret pal. I mean, we were gone for a week, not two months! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post...

November - Reading for Fun!
In November we received a huge package of REALLY thoughtful books. I have long been convinced that my secret pal has a spy at my house, and November just confirmed that fact. The "Biscuit's Hanukkah" book was actually in my hands at the book fair at my temple, but for whatever reason I put it back. What did I get? I bought "H is for Hanukkah" - the book that goes along with "P is for Passover"! And I love the other two books too!! :)

December - Toys for Tots!!

In December we got another great package from our much-loved secret pal...stacking cups!! I have heard so much about them, and now our little girl has her very own!! We also got really neat squishy blocks...they have ABCs & 123s on them and are great!

Holiday Secret Pal Exchange! (a.k.a. Happy Chanukah to ME!!)

As if that wasn't enough, we were also so lucky to have an amazing Holiday Secret Pal! The Bryants spoiled us rotten! They were so sweet to find both Chanukah AND Chinese New Year books for us!! We also got a yummy smelling cinnamon candle (can you tell from the picture I've been using it?) and chocolate gelt (not pictured...would be ridiculously gross at this point since Chris ate it shortly after I opened the box!!!).

A BIG thank you for everything! We are so lucky to have such wonderful online friends!! :)

Look what the O'Briens Secret Pal (stork) added to our family this December. Her name is Cara Carla and was born in the Cabbage Patch on May 31st. Secret Pal I cannot thankyou enough for the beautiful little cabbage patch baby doll for little Anisha. I actually cried when I saw it because it was the same one I was looking at 2 weeks ago. I thought it was so cute I couldnt resist posting more than one picture of her. Cara even comes with a birth certificate and adoption papers. What a perfect gift for our soon to be daughter Anisha. And as always Secret Pal I always look forward to the beautiful cards you send and this one was very special as it was written in Chinese.

Thankyou again to our wonderful friend and secret pal.
