Purple the Parents!!!!!!

Oh Secret Pal, Thank you so very very much!!!!! I loved everything!!! Purple ofcourse is my favorite color, but I love paper!!!! I love stationary and note pads, cute cards etc! Thanks for helping me to make my "stash" even prettier with Monogrammed purple note cards!!!!!

A winnie the pooh book mark with a purple butterfly! I am reading The Lost Daughters of China right now and using a tissue for a book mark! Jamie's room is going to get morning sunshine so I think I might just have to share the purple stained glass butterfly with her, but in the mean time it will be beautiful in my sewing room which also gets glorious morning sunshine.

My husband and I have to admit that our Secret Pal, whoever she or they are, went way over the top for this month's theme. Not only did she/they Pamper the Parents... we were spoiled.

The picture just doesn't do it justice as things are all crammed in. But here goes, we received a chocolate peanut butter sauce (from our favorite brand actually... little did anyone know!), bath bubble balls, a peach wine candle, a 365 days of chocolate uses (now we have a reason behind what we do every day!), candy sticks (Eric loves these and we never mentioned that!), tea sticks (I'll be hoarding those) and this really cool twirly bird for a planter.

Last, but not least was a package marked "open this last", Secret Pal... had I seen that first I would have been bad and opened it first. Good thing it was on the bottom. It contained a gift pack of scrapbooking stuff, from magnets, to die cuts, to cards, embellishments, paper, every item more wonderful than the last. It inspired me to catch up on a project I've had a hard time working on. Thank you so much for the inspiration, I really needed it, and Eric says thank you too as this gave him some 'man time' on his own!!! LOL.

Your thoughtfulness, incredible generosity and the wonderful card you sent meant so much to both of us, we really enjoyed all of the items you sent and many have already been put to use.

How awesome is my secret pal? I LOVE all my goodies and just in case you can't make them all out, allow me to elaborate. I received a sterling pendant/chain of the character for year of the dog (my year of birth), a cucumber-melon candle (my favorite scent), an Asian picture frame, a pink brocade album (my favorite color), chopsticks, a satin, pearl adorned box (for the necklace) and a book of poetry for a Chinese daughter. Thank you SO much secret pal, not only for my beautiful physical gifts but for the gift of friendship, even if secretive (or through Jenn) at the moment.

Thank your Secret Pal! Well after weeks of tracking this package, the reward was worth the wait. The splash towel and mittens are quite cute and so soft. I ran to the mailbox and had a big surprise! Thank you so much Secret Pal! My husband is a photographer, so this beautiful picture frame will get great use!!! The hard part will be deciding which picture to put in it. You were so sweet to send candy for my 2 boys. They LOVE you!!! And the towels! Perfect for packing! I really needed some new kitchen towels!!! Thank you too for the note. I agree that it was really hard to pick out this month's theme. We don't pamper ourselves enough. Also, it is hard sending someone stuff and getting so emotionally involved doing so, but not getting to know who is doing it for you, so the note helps me know you. You were so sweet!!!

Vandeven family Thanks you SECRET PAL! You did very good. I am amazed. I honestly have been with out the shower scrunchy for a few weeks (yucky one trash) and have been using hotel bar soap! (Bart collects them from all his business trips! Not my choice, really!) So now I have my own pretty bath gel, lotion and bath salts. Maybe I will clear the toys out of the tub and try those out, too! The kids think the back massager is "fun"! (??????)
I also really like the neat Chinese take out! Very creative and a great China gift! Thanks for the personal note. I tried to talk Bart into rubbing my feet with the lotion and posting a picture to show you he does pamper me....but as you see no picture!

Thank you from the Hennen's. My secret pal is great! Thank you so much for the wonderful tub toys. I had to hide them as my daughter wanted them for herself. It is so much fun to get gifts in the mail. I will post a picture soon, I lost the cord that attaches my camera to my laptop.

She sent me such an awesome package today-it had something "pampering" for everyone in the house, including the furbabies(see the karob covered bone and kitty treats Quincy and Higgins "Fatboy" are posing with). There was also a yummy pineapple candle, a great cookbook and some bath goodies from Crabtree and Evelyn. She is spoiling me!

We are overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness and generosity!

I had a hectic day today and came home to find an enormous box on my kitchen bench...I actually thought it was my vacuum cleaner back from being repaired...but to my great delight, not to mention my daughters', we found not one but five months of presents beautifully wrapped and packaged in gift bags! It was such a fabulous surprise and just like Christmas opening up the postal box and seeing all those gifts! Emily and Lucy loved opening the Bath Theme present! Secret Pal, thankyou for the Tub Toy Organiser, cute Boogie Board hippo thermometre and Fishing bath toy! So cute and sooo much fun! The girls were most disappointed when they discovered they couldn't play with them all...well, not until bub is home with us! ...I was allowed to open June's gift already, wasn't I!?!? Oh well, I did and it's just perfect. I would also like to express my delight in yourchoice for the Parent Pamper pressie! I love to read so the books, Snow Flower and The Secret Fan and Why I Chose You, are just great!! Many thanks to you again!

Thank you, thank you secret pal! I know this is a bit late getting posted but I couldn't get DH to bring home the digital camera so that I could show everyone how wonderful my secret pal is. I received this box chocked full of goodies. It contained a really nice basket with a pick checkered lining, the baby wash and baby lotion, pretty washcloths, the cool "party girl" rubby ducky so DH will know when the bath water is too hot, a package of red thread bracelets and the most precious toy - the crab which makes a cute bubbling kind of noise. I also sent a rubby ducky to my other secret pal, but my local stores didn't have any as cute as the one I received. I absolutely love everything, especially the crab and I play it every day. My mom and sisters all got it played to them over the phone. My pal was so generous and I thank my luck stars to have such a fantastic person for a pal. Thank you sooooo much! Michele K

To our Secret Pal ... We returned from a vacation and were so happy to find your gifts waiting for us! Our little girl, Sophie, was thrilled to open her little sister's present. Thankyou to the O'Briens Secret Pal!

Secret Pal you are terrific! I cannot tell you how much we all love the pretty gifts. Anisha got this soft, snuggly little pink bath hoodie and this really cute rubber duckie which is so neat. I have never seen this before. The duckie is a safety duckie and tells you if the bath water is too hot or not. Now that is neat! Secret Pal the note you addressed to Anisha is such a wonderful personal touch and the words really meant alot thankyou so much I have added the card to Anisha's scrap book for when she is older so she can keep it as a rememberance of your generosity.
